SOUTH PASADENA PICKLEBALL CROWN 2026

SPCC co-hosted the second annual South Pasadena Pickleball Crown with the City of South Pasadena on Sunday, June 14th at Orange Grove Park. A total of 27 teams competed across 4 divisions. The competition was fierce with teams playing a minimum of 5 matches. The four teams that won their divisions were: Black Bears (combined Men’s Advanced and Intermediate), Jennifer and Sarah (Women’s), Team Olive (Mixed), and the Kitchen Queens (Beginner).

This year, we added a new challenge — the fastest serve competition. The winners were Andy Lee (fastest man with a serve of 52 MPH) and Lauren Kwong (fastest woman with a serve of 45 MPH).

We are thankful for our sponsors for keeping our players hydrated and nourished: Recover 180, Trader Joe’s, Costco, and Starbucks. We would also like to thank the following sponsors: Bay Area Breakers, Huntington Optometric Center, the Natural History Museum, 99 Ranch, Twohey’s, Kristine Kwong PCC Board of Trustees Area 5, Teamorrow, and Mamma’s Brick Oven Pizza.

Thank you to everyone who participated and came out to support the South Pasadena Pickleball Crown!
