economic times are tough as they are right now, our city and schools have less
resources to work with. In the case of the The When the
City Administration asks for translators, we are there. When the Public Library
needs a sponsor for the summer reading program, we are there. When the school
district needs books for the library, we are there. We help where we can, with
the resources we have. This year,

| Overview of Major Club Activities | |
| The South Pasadena
Chinese-American Club has three major activities:
Scholarships, Grants and Awards SPCC typically awards about $10,000 worth of scholarships and grants each year to South Pasadena students. Each application is reviewed by our Education committee, and applications are accepted in several awards categories. Community Outreach: SPCC participates in a number of South Pasadena community events, including the Fourth of July Parade, the Fun Fair (supporting South Pasadena Schools), and others. Cultural Exchange: SPCC sponsors cultural exchange events each year, including the annual Moon Festival Celebration. |
