Join us for SPCC’s Annual Moon Festival – a cultural and community event to enhance understanding of Chinese customs, arts and crafts. Entertainment, kung fu demonstrations, food, games, and arts and crafts will be featured.

Date: Saturday, September 24, 2016, 12 noon – 4 pm

Location: South Pasadena Public Library, Library Community Room, 1115 El Centro St.

Popular at the Moon Festival are two contests: Food Challenge and Sidewalk Chalk-Art Contest.

The Food Challenge contest involves teams competing to eat such foods as pungent durian, bitter melon, and a slimy and sticky yam quickly.

Sidewalk Chalk-Art Contest
Moon Festival attendees from pre-K to high school are invited to enter the Sidewalk Chalk-Art contest, which runs from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. Prizes awarded in 4 categories. Supplies are provided. Sign up at the Moon Festival.
