SPCC is proud to announce the Karl Hwang Scholarship, with three awards of $3,000 each.
SPCC established this scholarship in memory of Dr. Karl J. Hwang, a biophysical chemist and the late President and Co-Founder of SPCC.
Three $3,000 scholarships are available to qualifying SPHS seniors with at least a 3.5 GPA who will be attending an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S.
All applications must be submitted online by Friday, April 7, 2024.
SPCC urges students from all cultures and backgrounds to apply. The selection of the scholarship recipients will be based on the following criteria: 1) Academic excellence (cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better); 2) Leadership involvement in school and community activities; 3) Personal statement.
The scholarship recipients will be notified by announcement at the SPHS Awards Night on May 29, 2024.
